Hiking at the Oregon Coast

This weekend we took another day trip down to the coast for the first time! It was SO pretty. My mom found this hike from the book she bought that was 5.4 miles roundtrip and GORGEOUS. IT was like all foresty and pretty and we went up and over little mini-mountains and around creeks! Ok this picture is real blurry and all, but my mom wanted to show how BIG the trees are! Look at her!
Here's a picture looking over the cove that we hiked around. We're on a grassy meadow thing on this side! It's gorgeous, the fog was rolling in and out and in and out! And the next cove over was home to what sounded like THOUSANDS of sea lions! You could hear them SO loud.. but we couldn't see them :(

Here's another look over the coast:
Here's Erik and I in the grassy meadow at the end of our hike where we had a picnic lunch before we hiked the LONG way up hill back!!

Totally looks like the scenery from the movie Twilight but I think that was filmed in Canada.
