My dad arrived Thursday, 6 hours late due to a flight cancellation, but no worse for the wear. Also, 45 lbs of wheat arrived from my mom's farm (thanks Scott!!!) Apparently it didn't really stay in the boxes so they arrived in large bags maybe swept up off the post office floor :)
The next day we drove to Lausanne for a 15 school cross country meet. While the team was warming up, my dad and I headed into town to explore a bit. This is the largest cathedral in Switzerland.

Looking strong after his first lap. Each lap was 1.8 km. Ryan's age group ran two laps. He placed 21st out of 52 runners.
The course was gorgeous as it ran around a horse corral then into the woods, down the hill, through a stream and back up the hill and back around.
Kent's 2nd lap of 3. The guy just behind him collapsed just after the picture was taken as they headed up the hill. Kent continued strong to finish first in his age group (14-16) and the group above (16-18). Not bad for his first race.
General Conference weekend commenced with our 11th biannual Brady Boys' Restaurant. Clientele included Scotsman.
Awesome breakfast buffet the first morning. The boys are finishing up the crepes to include regular and soy :)
After breakfast we headed off to Zug for a soccer tournament. Kent used his head more than any other body part playing midfield defense.

After two games the rest of us headed into Lucerne (not far from Zug). We started at the Lion Monument then headed into the Glacier Museum.
