Snowboarding

It started off happy enough, renting the boards and having them all set up backwards--3 are goofy foot and 2 regular but apparently the translation was switched.
A quick practice in front of the shop and we headed up the mountain.
We spent a bit of time real close to the snow.
 And sometimes, even closer.
 Gorgeous Day!
Nathan hated the first half way down but eventually got the hang of it and loved it!

Kent and Ryan found their passion.   I didn't get all the message in the snow but you can figure out the rest--SNOW.  Just after this pic Ryan went down hard and we are still waiting to see the damage to his wrist (we'll see how it feels in the morning :)
After the first hour and a half, Dan and I exchanged our boards for skis.  We are too old to fall that far and that hard that often.  But the boys managed beautifully!
It was fun to trail them and see what young blood and strong bones can do.
