Saturday, we took our 3 ISBerne Odyssey of the Mind teams to Geneva for a 4 hour practice session of spontaneous problems.

We have 3 teams (4th grade, mixed 5th and 6th, and 7th grade) and it is our first year participating. With Geneva's 9 teams and our 3 teams, our 7th graders took 2nd place, our 5/6 graders took 5th and our 4th graders took 6th. Ryan's team won two of the 10 problems and our 4th grade team won 2 of the 10. Not bad for our first year. It was fun to see our team receive more points for team work than we expected :) We return in one month for the presentation of our long term problem and the performance of one spontaneous problem.
