Our last trip before school started. We took the train to Lucerne...
then a boat to the Verkehrsmuseum.
The kids did train simulations and most of them went way past their stopping destination since they underestimated their train weight. Ryan and Sophie built a marble track with paper and blocks, to include a bridge between 2 tables.
Nate's group of friends learned the rules of the road (to include roundabouts) and earned their Verkehrsmuseum driver license.
The highlight was flying high in the sky. Ryan's first jumps included double back flips!
which he followed up with a dig in the rocks.
All the kids did jet simulations. Nate and Ufuk had quickly flipped their jet and flew the opposite direction the entire 5 minutes. One could hear the muffled screams when their turn was over and the simulator flipped back quickly.
Can you find the kids among the signs? There were scooters outside each of the museums to ride to other buildings.
This was Nate's 2nd jump and he managed triple back flips and triple fronts. Nate is in the back, his friend Jack is in the front.
After all the transportation simulations the kids found a news and radio broadcasting booth. They managed all sorts of songs and news events.
Luckily, from the outside of the booth we couldn't really hear them :)
