We met at Maison Cailler, a chocolate factory near Gruyere. The tour was well done and finished with all sorts of chocolate tasting. A quick play in the sunshine before moving on.

A quick run/tour around the castle that wasn't so quick. It's like a maze that goes on and on. And one never knows what they'll find around the corner or over the door :)

Our sledding adventure is about to begin...
It would have helped if the guy from whom we rented the sledges mentioned something about the need to attach the sled to your leg. Erin lost hers at one turn. While we sat and looked at the pristine sled tracks through the deep snow we saw another sled go much farther. Looking up the slope we saw Abir approaching with no sled :) Erik, gallantly went to retrieve both sleds but had to take frequent breaks on his return. He said he only lied face down in the slow to get a drink.
A quick break so we could all collect together.
The day was amazing but definitely different than we anticipated. In reality, we had never really been sledding before ;)

I am so sorry to see these pictures. Everyone is dressed so warmly which means it is cold :( Hawaiians and cold = DISLIKE.
