YMYW Jura Mountain Trek

Our last YM/YW activity trekking into the Jurassic Mountains.  We parked our cars in Courtelary, took the train to La Chaux-de-Fonds then started hiking.

Wildflowers galore!

Quick break so the boys could climb the tree-trunk pyramid.

Dinner break with our dinner guest.  We decided not to roast her tonight :)

First night sleeping in an agriculture college--interesting but comfortable.

View from our room in Cernier.

Breakfast the next morning in the grass field next to Migros.

Ready for a full day of trekking.

Taking a break again?

No more breaks, lets go!!

Quick family pic in the Chasseral Regional Park.

Ahhh!

Moooo!

Lunch break.

Photo Bombers!

Hiking down so we can hike up again :)

Group pic on the top of the world.

Family pic on the other side.

My university kids.

Parting the cows.

Nate's favorite girl!

I will miss them!!!

Erik's new girlfriend.

Erin stays behind to make a friend.

Lots of fences to keep the cows in and out but this sign shows all the animals that may not pass this fence--do you think the animals can read that?

Our cabin sleeping the second night above Courtelary.

Breakfast the next morning--en guete!

Boules with the cows looking on.

 Leap frog in the yard.

The view from our window during breakfast and sacrament meeting.  What a fabulous day!!!  And wonderful memories!!!
Thanks to the Bern Ward YM and YW leaders!!!
