Friday afternoon we dropped Kent and Ryan off at the Stake Youth Easter Camp then Dan, Nate and I drove to Ursula's. We collected herbs from the road by her home and dried them.
Then we put them on the eggs with panty hose.
Then we dyed them in either onion skins or sandalwood or something else.
Happy Easter!!
Dan read to Nate in the Feng Shui room before falling asleep (not sure who fell asleep first).
Happy Easter from Nate! This is Ursula's table.
Nate is saying goodbye to all of Ursula's ducks before we leave. Good thing he forgot about the round room upstairs :)
Looks like spring but good thing you can't see the rain/snow out the windows!
Then we headed to Neuchatel. Dan and Nate on our way up to the Neuchatel Chateau.
Just a few chimneys over the city--definitely a rainy, gray day!
Ceiling of the Collegiale Church by the Chateau
We enjoyed the organist practicing with a 16 year old trumpist--it was glorious!
Nate was imitating Kent jumping over the pole but didn't quite make it.
Then Dad took us to a beautiful creek that runs through the middle of Neuchatel. You would definitely not expect to find this among the industry and buildings where it is hidden.
We hiked along for awhile.
Under the bridges
through the neighborhoods
and around the corners.
Nate wanted to swim but we suggested to wait for warmer weather.
Around another corner and then the water disappears under the city for good.
