A Day Skiing at Grindelwald

We went up to Grindelwald on Thursday to spend the day skiing as a family. It was perfect! The Swiss kids were still in school until Friday, so there were so few people there, and the conditions were just lovely!

Here's mom and Ryan in the gondola on the way up:

The mountains were just beautiful! Here is Ryan, me, Kent and Nate:

We stopped for lunch up in Kleine Scheidegg. There were no picnic tables though, so we just sat in the snow for a bit and ate the sandwiches we brought. It really wasn't too cold.

But after a few more runs, we found a little Skibar and stopped for some hot chocolate.

This is all 6 of us (mom is taking the picture) on a chair lift, and it was snowing a bit, so we had this nice yellow bubble that we could pull down in front of us! It was kind of neat... except it made all the snow around us look yellow too :P

The view from the gondola going down into Grindelwald was so beautiful:

Dad and I in the gondola. I told him to smile, and he said that was a smile, haha ;)

Overall it was just a wonderful and super enjoyable day! And Kent said the best part was that as we were driving back in to Bern, it was snowing here too :)
