Erin's choice for her last weekend with the family was to go hiking--so off we went (with Nala our current guest). We started at the end of the hike the boys did with the Stake Scouts last week.
We hiked up and over and around the mountains enjoying the fresh air, cow bells and flowers while avoiding new and old cow pies :)

Our first pass brought us to an overlook of Zweissimen where the kids skied with the school group all winter. It was fun to see it snowless.
Back at the lake at the end of the hike--the kids said the water was warm :) at least warmer than the Aare (the river that runs through Bern which is currently 19 C)
Erin was the first in, but eventually all the kids and Dan followed (someone had to man the camera, right?)
There was quite a tussle for the one towel that we brought.
Beautiful day in spite of the forecast for thundershowers.
