Leaving Portland--the house was empty, the garage was clean, we had friends to wish us safe travels, so off we drove--into the sunset.
First stop: Idaho at Dan's Uncle Vearl and Aunt Sandra where the kids (including parents and dog) enjoyed riding the 4 wheelers along the Snake River.
One never knew exactly what would be around the next shrub:)
