Gingerbread Town

Kent is the mastermind behind the gingerbread house this year. He made the dough, rolled it out, make 3 patterns depending on how much dough we had, cut it out (he had enough for 2 houses and plenty of cookies), made the frosting and then started the construction process.
Ryan was the idea man for the decorating. He made several different patterns before a plan was chosen.
Erin arrived just in time to add a feminine touch.
Nathan took care of any leftovers or bad ideas:) and Erik was in the other room busily working on a project. I can't share the picture yet but after Christmas your curiosity will be quenched.
The result! They almost had two Rudolph's but made the necessary changes before it was too late. On the back of the larger home is a heart shaped window made from the top of two candy canes--too cute. The little candy blob on the left side ground is a dog riding a toboggan sled. I'm sure that was obvious but just wanted to clarify:)
May your holidays be as sweet as our ginger town!
