Christmas parties included Ryan receiving his Master Gardener Award and singing carols with the other Master Gardeners, 60 years plus in age :)
Erin and Derek joined us for the holiday season and we headed up to Brighton for our yearly family ski day.
Erik, Ashley and Lukas joined us and Lukas showed us how to decorate his gingerbread train.
We built a snowman outside, named him Bear.

The highlight of the holidays, after all the kids came home, was chatting with Kent on Christmas Eve morning.
After church pictures which not all are happy about.

Christmas Eve dinner with Aunt Tina, Josh and Ben and our neighbors Lisa and Brian.
And then our well planned and well acted Nativity with Lisa and Brian as narrators:
Nate was the donkey who carried the expectant Mary (Ashley) to the stable where Joseph (Erik) supported her wife in her travail, delivering the Christ child (Lukas).
Angels (Tina) heralded His birth, declaring tidings of great joy to all!
Our shepherds (Derek) and sheep found the newborn babe with our Star (Ryan) providing light to guide the way for the Wise Men (Ben and Josh).
Erin accompanied all our vocal celebrations in the birth of our Savior. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir accompanied our finale--The Hallelujah Chorus.
Christmas Morning the kids searched high and low for the pickle--Erik won the pickle package.
Lukas took a little longer to awaken for the party.
Dan reading us Politically Correct Bedtime Stories.
And of course, a game of Ultimate to celebrate Christmas!
Merry Christmas!!
