May 5th we took a nice walk up the canyon. When we reached the end of the road, we headed up the mountain on what appeared to be a trail. It didn't last long. We were soon just climbing straight up the mountains.
Coming back down we chose to follow another route, which was thick with scrub oak.
Erin loved the challenge. Elle truly enjoyed it, running between her and me to make sure we all arrived safely at the bottom.
The wild flowers were gorgeous!
Our new trail had a few steep edges, but all in all, we enjoyed a lovely walk in the world,
especially Elle!
