Nathan is working on his 5th grade school project about information and technology. He developed an online survey. He then translated his survey into french and german and then went to downtown Bern. He recruited 3 other students--1 french speaker (the adorable little girl) and 2 german speakers, to help him with the conversation. The survey took about 5 minutes to complete and they managed to get about 50 responses within 3 hours. Not bad. Very fun to watch from the sideline. Made me think we should talk more often with those around us :)
Saturday he celebrated his 11th birthday with friends from school.
They ate pizza and strawberries with angel food cake.
And of course, they played soccer and frisbee and badminton in the garden.
