Kent's Birthday Operation

Our newest excitement is paper football competitions.  Sometimes they get a bit competitive and we have to cancel a few games.  I have the record for breaking the most goal posts (there are 5: BYU, Patriots, OSU, Oregon State, and U of U), mostly with my powerful kick but also just in passing.

With Kent's birthday the day after his operation we celebrated his birthday several times.  Saturday night a BBQ with a friend's family from school and Kent's favorite Black Forest Cherry Cake.  Then Monday for lunch the missionaries joined us for lasagna and a bit of Kent's last basketball (their Pday).

Birthday flowers for the birthday boy--happy 15th!
Ryan's newly acquired finger trap that he managed to get his toes stuck in :)

After his surgery Nate was thrilled to jump in the bed and take a ride :)

Kent opened his favorite gift--signed Jimmer book, thanks to Erin!

While Dan, Ryan and Nate explored in London (pictures to follow), Kent recovered from his surgery.  My job was to make sure he didn't get a red head (doctor's orders, no activities that caused a red head--exercise, hot bath, suntanning, etc.)  Friday we went out for a few errands so this was the extent of our sightseeing.

Then home to watch another Bollywood and eat berry shakes!
