Brady Boys Restaurant and Conference

Friday, Dan, Kent and Ryan went camping in Kandersteg with the scout troop.  They had great weather and great activities but no pictures.  Nate and I went to Lucerne by train and boat to the Transportation Museum which was amazing, but again, no pictures.  Nate did a train and helicopter simulation, drove cars on the road (he even knows how to navigate the roundabouts), used a power wheel chair and did double back and front somersaults on a bungee trampoline set up.

Today was General Conference (we watch Saturday's sessions and Sunday's am (too late for the afternoon one here, although Nate was happy to stay up from 10-midnight :)  In addition, we were treated to the Brady Boys' Restaurant.
Ryan made a beautiful menu with a set of scriptures in the center (tried to upload it, but it didn't work).
 They flipped crepes and tortillas.
 But luckily not the plates.
The cookies were amazing but no pictures, sorry.

Dan returned with a new skill from Scout camp.  Using rope, the scouts made arm bands or ankle bands that doubles as emergency rope.  It's the friendship bracelet knots so I figured Erin would be rather proud of her dad.  He made several bands and then even a belt.  Kent made one, too.  What industrious boys!

Nate has finally become a reader!  He finished the first Harry Potter and has jumped into the second.  Wasn't sure that day would ever come but glad he's finally found the bug :)
