Sweet 16

It started with chocolate covered strawberries (thanks to Kent) and crepes for breakfast.

The dress Grandma Brady made which miraculously fit perfectly.

Erin and Kent both had Solo Ensemble performances--Erin on flute, Kent on trumpet with Erin as accompanist. With the stress over Erin finally let down her guard to be completely surprised to find several friends camping in her house on her return.

Erik had the idea to make Erin a Barney cake (sort of as pay back for the Barbie cake she made for his 16th birthday). He bought the cake mix, Ashley made the cake and her mom did the decorating while he picked up the pizza and sodas and Ryan and Nate decorated at home.

Nate and his friend Brandon thought they should help with the payback and made her a cake with a little sign. They were both tasty, regardless of where they came from:)

We now have another 16 year old in our family and in the world!
