Parents Trip

My parents came for the week. Things didn't turn out as planned but we did accomplish a few of our goals.

My dad took lots of pics and edited several. This is an un-edited one but I love Erik's easy, carefree look. We will still spend some time editing but we have a good base to work with. (Thanks Dad/Grandpa!)

Cards and Games

We played lots of games between hospital visits and stays. My mom had atypical pneumonia and was hospitalized for a few days. We played games and cards at home and played cards at the hospital. The kids new favorite games are Snorta! and Yahtzee Free for All.

Trail Running

My dad and I ran the 7 mile loop at Silver Falls and saw 7 different falls. We stopped long enough for a few pictures here and there. My dad would have preferred his nice camera but for the run the little portable just had to suffice.

The forest was enchanted and we actually didn't have any rain:)

Coming down the stairs wasn't too hard but "what comes down must go up" or vice versa. We earned the water and trail mix we had stashed in the car. It was an hour drive home so we were a bit stiff getting back out of the car:)

My parents arrived back home last night. We all enjoyed their visit and glad they arrived safely.
