Homecoming

Kent's return home from his mission in Bulgaria has brought family and friends together.  Spring has sprung and we are each enjoying the beauty in the world around us with its reminder of the Atonement of our Savior and His Resurrection.

Kaden received his name and blessing from his father April 8.

Grandpa and Grandma Brady spent their last few days in Utah with us.  We jeeped to the north end of Stansbury Island and enjoyed some hiking along the Great Salt Lake.

Nathan acquired a camera to develop his photography skills, taking some tips from Grandpa Cragun. The following are a few of his unedited pics

The family all gathered to watch Ryan garden--not sure what will happen when he leaves.  But on second glance, perhaps we were all gathered to watch Lukas play in the rocks :)

Ryan got more bees to restock his hive for the spring.

 Nathan assuming the responsibility to restock the bee food (just until more flowers are in bloom).  I guess we'll be able to continue beekeeping.

Kent shared his wonderful mission experiences in our Sacrament meeting by following Nephi's Psalm in 2 Nephi 4.  We were edified and inspired by his testimony.  After enjoying time with family and friends we took a little walk up Secret Canyon with Grandpa.

 And for some reason, Nathan drove us back home (at least to the edge of civilization).

 Ryan's newest pet--a duck!

 Apparently the duck made him very lucky--he was asked out to a dance by his favorite girl immediately upon imprinting the duck, he was named valedictorian of his class two days later and that same day received notification that he was awarded the Pres. Nelson scholarship to BYU.

 But the poor lucky duck doesn't even have a name yet :(
