End of Summer and Back to School

Ryan was elected as a Senior Class Officer and chose to serve as Secretary.
His new officer sweater.
Nate bought a hoop at DI to play basketball in the pool but managed a "knee" game against his dad.
Lukas enjoyed the hoop but also running in the sprinklers before breakfast.
We drove up South Willow Canyon for a break from the heat and a splash in the creek.
Ryan's end of summer garden with his first cucumber (they got a late start) and his 50-60th zucchinis.
Their second xcountry race of the season at Sugarhouse Park before school even started.

First day of Senior Year

and first day of Freshman Year.
Thea begins to exhibit some deep psychological issues when the boys return to school by eating Ryan's homework and then anything made of paper sitting out.
Mom returned to school herself with a week at BYU Education Week with her dad, sister, sister-in-law, nieces and aunts.  So much fun but too little time!

Xcountry annual hike up Deseret Peak for glorious view.  It was the least windy on the summit of the 3 times I've climbed: 2 hours up, 1 hour down.
Dan and Nathan headed north to City of Rocks and the Barker family reunion in Idaho.
Lake Independence morning hike.
Mountain biking in City of Rocks

Now perhaps we can return to a bit of routine, but perhaps not...
