Dan, Elle and I found a fun canyon in the Oquirrh Mountains not far from the house, we just can't find its name. We have hiked here previously but always went up the gorge straight behind the jeep. This time we found an easier access road back down on this side. We will still climb up the rocks through the gorge because it is gorge-ous!
We hiked up a couple miles and found this elephant ready to trounce us.
The leaves were gorgeous, too!

Ryan was in Boise, Idaho for XC race. His JV team took first place out of 25 teams, mostly because Ryan really pushed himself and overtook 6 runners in the last few hundred meters of a 5K race!

Breakfast this morning was so much fun! I had to squirt bottles, put pancake batter in both and then mixed chocolate sauce in with one of them. You draw with the chocolate one and then just cover with the plain batter. So fun and yummy!
Nathan's newest friend who has been around long enough now that she can play with her houseguests. She was sexed yesterday so we are fairly certain she is a girl. Nate has changed her name from Milkshake (appropriate for a milk snake) to Missy, much to Erin's chagrin. Missy just oozes with friendliness and cuddliness. Maybe next week we'll introduce her to the rabbits and Elle!
