The day before Thanksgiving Erik, Mark and I attended the temple then met Dan and some friends from Oregon for lunch. It was a gorgeous day!!

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving at Dave and Jen's and apparently we were so busy enjoying ourselves that we didn't take a single picture. My dad took a few at dinner so I will have to get those. We ran our turkey trot down the canyon while the real turkey smoked in Dave's backyard :)
Friday we went with the Glads to their cabin in the mountains to find a Christmas tree.
We parked our car as soon as we hit the unplowed roads, then helped to push the other vehicles that needed the extra uuumph!
Then off we went searching for trees.
This one?
Or this one?
The boys just loved dumping each other in the snow.
Again and again.
A dry, high place.

This is the one!
And it just fits.
Nathan relaxing by the fire the next morning.
Scott and Heather made apple pies while some decorated the tree. It was a sporadic decorating with some here and some there. Erik and Erin and Felicia helped as well.
Happy Holidays!!!
