Our dear friends from Morocco, Rose and Ryan, were in town for the holiday weekend. They stopped by Sunday evening for dinner and games, introducing us to their 2 darling daughters (our first house guests). They worked for Peace Corps in Morocco, inviting us to their far away village, Tirnest.
While we settle in to our new home in Stansbury, Erik and Erin are settling into a new semester at BYU.
Erik's first day of school, after his 4am cleaning job but before classes started.
Erin's first day of school, 8am. She did not see her apartment again until 10pm.
Ryan's first assignment of the year--a floral arrangement entered into the Utah State Fair exhibit.
Nate's first soccer game of the year. He scored 3 goals in the first 15 minutes. Coach had to pull him back so others had a chance. It was especially fun to watch since he was the smallest kid on the field (11-14 in his division).
Kent on the Stansbury High School sidelines--#49. We finally found him after studying all the socks and cleats :)
Ryan's creativity continues. He cut off the top of a plastic bottle then added it to a plastic bag so that we can screw the lid on and off of a bag of chocolate chips.
