Nate asked grandma to teach him to sew. She showed him how to make a 9 square.
He started sewing away, with a goal to make 2 9-squares each day so he would have enough to make a quilt at the end of his time at grandma's. Two days later he had 25 9-squares so then he had to find the sashing to make his squares into a quilt.
His amazing grandma made it happen!
Well done, Nate!!!!
