We started our puzzle the day Erin arrived home from college (Dec 14). Dan said that Santa wouldn't come until the puzzle was finished which encouraged Kent to help organize all 2000 pieces and complete the border. After hours and hours we got to this point. My contribution was the piece organization. You wouldn't believe the evil puzzle cutters that would cut around a dark color so it only appeared on the knob and not on the connecting piece :)
And then after almost a month (Jan 12), we put in the last 200 pieces.
We saved a bottle of Lychi bubbly drink to celebrate our accomplishment!
We now feel closer to Van Gogh than we ever did, having studied every one of his brush strokes!
