Halloween Water-lanterns

Pumpkins are difficult to find here unless you want a 30 pound pumpkin and then they think you are nuts to buy the whole thing. You usually find them already cut into as people ask for 1-2 kilos at a time. Hence, Ryan grew watermelons this year, of which only one matured enough to eat. So he saved them for Kent, Ryan and Nathan to carve them into Water-lanterns (Erik, Erin and Dan were in Tunis for a swim meet). Once they were lit you could hardly tell, just a pale green glow if you look real close.

That's awesome! I think the pale green glow is a bonus feature.
