Lori and Dan were able to travel to Jordan for a work conference at the Dead Sea. Being so close to Jerusalem, they took a couple extra days to see the Holy Land. The experience was unforgettable as they rushed around to see the various sites. Clearly, the region has a special significance and spirit. This combined with the layers of political, cultural and religious conflicts in the region sure made us pause to reflect on our past and our future as humanity.
While Jerusalem was a mad rush of touring, Jordan was work for Dan and resort relaxation for Lori on the Dead Sea. Petra qualifies for one of the seven wonders of the world. We question the health claims of the Dead Sea, but sure enjoyed it.
